I believe OBS' Add Source dialog would benefit from including source groups related to what specific function each source has within the program.
Currently, it is ordered only through alphabetical order. This makes it difficult for users to find specific sources they desire, especially for users that may have to use OBS in different languages often, in which case the source list order changes due to the change of source names.
I have included an image for what I believe would be a way to solve this. I understand there would have to be some discussion under which category certain sources would fall upon (would media sources be better as audio sources, video sources, or a category of their own as multimedia source? Would NDI and browser sources be better to be within a Network Sources category? Is a text source acceptable as an image source given it is almost exclusively used as static visual?). However, I believe all users, both beginners and experienced users, would benefit from this.
