[Windows 11, Laptop] Window Capture issue with GGPoker

Hi all!

I have a recurring issue with OBS on Windows 11 using a Dell Laptop [1], capturing GGPoker. I use Window Capture to grab the different poker tables, and I've been doing this successfully for 3+ years now on the same device. Only recently, sometimes from the start, sometimes after streaming for a while, the capture fails, and I only see a black screen with a "disturbed" mouse cursor (see image below). Changing the capture to a different window (and back) doesn't solve it.

I have read the related post "Laptop? Black screen when capturing? Read here first." [2], and I've tried to set both OBS and GGPoker to use the same GPU. My Video Encoder is set to NVIDIA NVENC H.264. I've included my log file [3].

Things I've tried:
- If you want to use display capture to capture your screen / desktop, select "Power Saving". Tried this, but the same issue still happens sometimes.
- Using "Optimize graphics for games with windows" (normally disabled, enabling didn't solve it)
- Using OBS Game Capture: Works "ish" but it doesn't see differences in poker tables (even if they have clear different window titles), so it's not practical for me.
- Using OBS Display Capture: I don't want to use this, and it often doesn't "see" GGPoker (but captures everything else correctly).
- Often, restarting GGPoker solves the issue, but recently only temporarily. I can't put my finger on what triggers it to happen. It might switch which GPU it uses?

Not sure if this is related at all, but I've also noticed when I try to make a screenshot using the Windows Snipping Tool, I can't capture GG either. It minimizes automatically when starting a snip. It captures everything else fine.

I know my laptop is quite old, but streaming has been working fine for 3+ years, so I'm not going to upgrade just because of this issue :)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When trying some stuff out (Force SDR Yes/No, Capture Method Automatic etc) I saw these errors in the log:

19:37:15.951: CreateForWindow (0x80070057)
19:37:28.644: [window-capture: 'PokerTable2'] update settings:
19:37:28.644: executable: GGnet.exe
19:37:28.644: method selected: WGC
19:37:28.644: method chosen: WGC
19:37:28.644: force SDR: false
19:37:28.782: CreateForWindow (0x80070057)
19:37:36.543: [window-capture: 'PokerTable1'] update settings:
19:37:36.543: executable: GGnet.exe
19:37:36.543: method selected: WGC
19:37:36.543: method chosen: WGC
19:37:36.543: force SDR: false

The CreateForWindow lines are printed in red as well. Maybe this can help solve it?

(Nothing helped, just got the black screen and cursors)

Thanks for your reply.

Sadly, Display Capture doesn't work for me; when the Window Capture fails, the Display Capture fails in the same way (capturing everything except the poker tables). I seem to be one of the few poker streamers with this issue, so there must be something I can fix locally. Also, it's been fine for years, that's weird right? :)
