Can't start virtual Camera, v4l2loopback issue?

I'm running the flatpak OBS version 31.1.2 under PopOS 24.04 running Gnome 46 under Wayland.
When I start the virtual camera, I get an authentication dialog, and then the message `Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.`

The log (see below) is not particularly helpful. The attached dmesg log is a bit more helpful, and I think it is a version issue with v4l2loopback.

v4l2loopback-dkms is already the newest version (0.13.1-1pop1~1711631550~22.04~9a000c0).
(I'm not sure if there is something newer upstream in the Ubuntu repositories, or if I need to downgrade.)

That's an unusual error; I wonder what kernel you're using (i.e. what the output of uname -r is)...

In any case ... I would remove the loopback module and install a newer version from either a pre-built debian: https://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/v/v4l2loopback/ or you could build from upstream source: https://github.com/v4l2loopback/v4l2loopback
